Perhaps re-run this poll as a multi-selection and then do a final runoff (singular selection) with the top 3 from that?

If you don't want to do it, Yoss, I'd be happy to. Just trying to make this work for as many as possible. And that's assuming we can make everyone vote again...

This may have been said, and so many have voted that it probably doesn't matter now, but there's no guarantee than the unlimited Vail days in April option will be there for people who buy in the Fall.

Also, Copper 4 packs could be purcahsed last year for $59, so $15/day.

Sure Maximus, you're all over it!

We could let this run for a while first or re-do it, but do we really need more votes to know which the top three seem to be? I dunno.

So, sometime soon, how about throw up a three-option poll with the top three date ranges, and make sure to allow multiple selections per person so we can start to get a sense of how many people think they might actually be able to show at some point in each date range.

Give it a known closing date a few weeks out (end of August?), and let that sucker run!

Let's deal with the location specifics later.

yea, definately let this poll hang around for a while. it's only august guys, and we're talking about march/april for the Summit. that's a ways away. we have time to get some more input before making a decision. we can even start compiling a list of people who will and/or plan to attend the Summit, and from that we can take those people's choices since those will be the ones actually going.

    Here's an idea:
    0) Put up 3 different weeks. Ask which 1 or 2 you wouldn't attend.

    1) Make it weight. Put up 3. Ask participants to order them by priority. Use some snazzmaster monster 5th degree polynomial through some dark, deep precision wavelet approximation of the most common choice.

It's up, Yoss. Now away with you, heathens, go VOTE!!!

And the deadline is Aug 31, not Sept. 1.

jtq: Good idea, but it's a chicken-and-the-egg: how are we gonna know who's gonna go if we don't know when it is? Solidify the dates, and then get an attendees' list. From what I saw last year, most who said they would show, showed. So that system worked.

I want to vote again for the Mar 24 - Aspen option as I had voted for the week earlier but either way A-town is the choice. I will have the sleds gassed up for some backcountry luvin'...
