    Some Dean positions of interest (NSR)

    From today's New York Times, about Dean as Gov...

    "He balanced the state budget, cut taxes, favored tightening the rules for welfare recipients, won the top rating of the National Rifle Association, opposed methadone clinics, fought the legalization of marijuana (a big issue in Vermont) and was re-elected five times."

    Sounds good enough for me. He also overhauled the healthcare system.
