Bore us man, because, well, it aint (boring, that is), and it's way more entertaining than work. Any stoke is good stoke and it's always fun hearing from the Montana collective.

Managed to sneak up there for three hours this morning before work. Spun two Ridge laps, and there was at least 17" up there. Got first tracks down the middle of B Gully, and then went back for more on the Apron. Like a total rookie, I left my digi cam in the truck last night and the batteries were dead when I tried to shoot some pics this morning. Saw Mountainman and LAD up there, and caught a glimpse of Base. Lots of cars down in the lot, but really not much of a crowd on the hill. I think that everybody must have driven up solo this morning.

    Keep it coming Ullr man!!!!!

Nice pics Freak! Today was another great day for sure. Unfortunately, I spent a lot of it searching for buried skis (had some very unpleasant binding issues on two separate occasions). Like a retard, I didn't inspect my new setup after a warranty on my Head 103's. No forward pressure = lots of digging (cursing) in chest deep snow. Had to bail early for work as well. I should be up again on Wednesday doing the usual.

    Thumbs up

    yesterday's 16 had 1.5" water, todays 17 had .4" water
oh my goodness today was a good one
walking to the lift just as the first chairs pull away I hear a brick of firecrackers goin off- that's kinda festive and a nice little echo to the real bombs rockin the ridge up top. A pretty full line for a monday but how quickly it disappeared. As I was behind the first wavers I opted to blast out to avy gulch for the high T but the first person was wallowing through the deepness so I had no choice but to dive in immediately- complete moling ensued and I could only catch glimpses of where I was and where I was going. The next time around high T was kicked in, breathing was difficult on that extended face shot down to flats, tuck it through headsup traverse and spin back up there for another. The liftline had all but disappeared by this time so we had to rally a few high speed pile shralpin lower mtn laps before hiking for the real goods. And they were really good those goods, so deep and so light. Went north went south went right back down. Made it around for one last high T and finished the day with the low angle sidestep up to Bucks to sop up the gravy, so pleasant is knee deep mellow tree skiing- lookin down at the wave coming off your shins, smiling. That was a good one, don't get much better... heard big sky got 1-3... the firecrackers? viper's Bday celebration, and a happy birthday it was...

Damn you guys, damn you damn you! Looks like you have some fun over there. The only thing I have time to go right now is my "home" resort. Ask MT or LAD, the pic is really taken from the top of the hill.
