    Important

.......well it seems so to me.

Check out The Constant Gardener, it is a profoundly disturbing and exceptionally well done film, in a pull-your-head-out-of-your-ass sort of a way.

Sack up folks, the world isn't a pretty picture, and this film draws a sharp focus to it.

I agree this is a great film. Those two scenes, where they decide whether or not to give the family a ride and where they get on the plane with the child are super poignant *kisses fingers like a chef* And the cinematography is absolutely beautiful.

The cinematography was indeed exceptional. This was one movie worth seeing!

Fernando Meirelles was the Director, his "City of God" was an amazing film as well. Both had the same Director of Photography: César Charlone. His style is really neat, I think - truly a DP to watch.

I've always been a fan of John LeCarre as well. His books don't whitewash the ugly side of life like other thriller writers do.

I still get a sick feeling in my belly when I think of it, the plot is so completely plausible, like the names have been changed to protect the writer from the guilty, and the way it was filmed really gave it a documentary feel.
