Question I need info on trekkers.

And yes, I used the search bar.

But some questions still remain. I just got a pair of ANTs with Rossi Axial2 120 demo binders on them. Im wondering if i can use trekkers with them. Is the trekker problem only with the turntable design? and if not, can i just adjust the binders since their demos and make them work and adjust them back befor the descent? I will only be making short climbs with these, not any serious tours. Any jongs and info is appreciated. thanks.

AFAIK the issue is that the Trekker heel will hit the heel of the binding if you try to use the Trekker with no heel riser bar. You need the low riser bar up, or the high one. This might not be a problem if you're only climbing with them, but if you have any flat traverses (approaches, ridgelines), it'll suck. There are times when I might come across a very short flat section between climbs so I don't adjust the heel riser down from one of the raised settings. Even on the low riser it's painful on the flat IMHO. People use Trekkers with Look/Rossis, though, so YMMV.

Right on the money here. Ridgelines will give the quad burn, downhill will make you feel like you've never skied before.

    Concur with above.

I have all three types of heel pieces on various skis (Axial, Axial2, FKS) and they all share the same "dildo angle," with the FKS being slightly more upright. So if you like Rossis, you won't like trekkers. AFAIK, the FKS requires the highest position, and you might be able to get away with a lower one with the others, but that's a big if.

Also, dude, demo bindings + trekkers? Do yourself a favor and get some solly non-demo bindings. Maybe the z12? Supposed to be light and stiff.

Thanks all. The binders came on the skis for cheap and i dont really want to take them off and have to mount again.

I had no problems with trekkers and fks180. Although I have been using that setup only twice. It is little bit harder than salomons to put on, but after that I didn't notice any difference.

same here I've use trekkers w/ P18s. I wanna get freerides, BUT the max din of 12 SCARES me when I rock my P18s at 12/13 or more during big mtn comps. I just love the look set up and have had bad luck with non-look/rossi bingings in the past.

OK, so when you don't use the heel lift, the Trekker hits the dildo. What the hell is the big deal??? It's not like it pops your binding off. I don't get why everybody moans about this problem.
I used Trekkers/Looks for a couple years with no issues.

One thing I wouldn't get into is adjusting the demo track between the trekkers and when you ski. I know it seem simple enough, but one time you might hit the wrong notch and not get your forward pressure right, etc. Adjust your trekkers to fit in the same binding setting instead.
