Wow! I've never been to a rap show before; and so to be truthful, I wasn't expecting much. But these guys just absolutely killed it. If you get a chance to go see them, do it. One of the better shows I've been to.

"I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."
Dammit.
I was literally driving right by, comtemplating stop/no stop as the g/f was telling me how good they are. I decided to go to Memorial Point and swim instead.

Is Cut Chemist touring with them yet? I made the decision not to see them in SF this time around specifically because of a lack of Cut.
New album is 'out' **cough** now

Nope, but the current mixologist is pretty good. No idea if he's better or worse than Cut, but I don't think he detracted from their performance. He even did a little solo that was pretty cool.Originally Posted by slim

Saw them a few years back in Providence, RI. Hands down the best show I've seen yet, and my GF (who isn't really into hip hop, but has seen a whole lot of live music) said the same. They were super friendly and approachable after the show too. Hopefully they stop somewhere around here on their latest tour.
Is the new cd good?
Anyone in the Boulder/Denver/Springs area want the Red Rocks half of the double show 9/9? You can't buy tickets for only the Fox Theatre show on Sunday night, they're only selling tickets for Sat (@Red Rocks) and Sun together, and we only want to go to the Boulder show...
Lemme know soon. Two tickets, you can have the Red Rocks show!

I almost forgot, they stayed after the show to sign autographs. I can't ever recall seeing a band do that. Very cool.

Cut Chemist left, Nu-mark is still there, and J5 are a bunch of fucking fags for doing a duet with Dave Matthews. It's such a blatant rip-off and grab for pop radio airplay, that I'd be more than willing to man-bitch she-slap them, since I'm not worried about them carrying gats. I'M FROM THE STREETS, BITCH!
OOOOOOOHHHH, I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!
you could've just stopped there. i got one of their cds, heard them all rapping at the same time and rapping about rapping at the same time and gave the cd to my gf at the time who's all "i don't want this".Originally Posted by BakerBoy
