Nope, won't work (tried it first). Bicycle patches need full on, vulcanized rubber in order to work...doesn't adhere to plastic.
depending on the kind of valve you might be able to patch on the inside, which would obviously work better. The valve on mine unscrews completely, leaving an inch or so diameter hole to work through.
Does it work on old Thermarests? I just found an old one the other day and was wondering about patching it too. It's got that kinda fabricy feel to it.Originally Posted by BB
