    TR: "The Wave" 7/16/06

Sick of the 100 degree temps in the city, and with minimal storms forecasted for the second day in a row, Eb and I headed a couple hours west into the high front range.

I skied Skyscraper on Saturday, where I ran into Fritz and had a great day. Unfortunately I lost my 1 gig card during the Hike on Sunday so I lost all of the pics from Rollins

This is one of the first big lines I discovered when I started seeking out summer snow. Because of the impact of wind loading from different directions during the winter, it's significantly different every summer, making one of my favorites.

    Eb knee deep.

    Getting close.

    Keepin it real

Finding a good spot to video from.

That sucks for us that you lost the card. More pictures are always in demand and are always a plus. But even with the lost card, still a great TR.

Looks like you did some serious boulder hopping to get those turns...but its always worth it.

Sucks you lost the card. Looks like you had a fun Sunday though. It was cool running into ya on Saturday. Brought back that day on Bethel with Shera. Take a look at the pic Joe took of you on the cornice, came out pretty good. It's up on the Rolllins TR that Dobish put up

I'm itchin to get some more days in so drop me a pm if you wanna go ski something.

After two runs, we hiked out with the storms to the East and the clear sunset to the West.

Nice work Doug and Eben. No drifts blocking the road? Keep 'em coming.

    That's kick-your-mom-in-the-head sweet.
I like the last shot to show that you were six feet from getting wet.
