Somebody tell me where to drive tonight. I have no idea where to go.

Plus my cell phone's display decided to quit yesterday so it's kind of important.

    I learned from the best.

    Mmmmm...hey there sexy...

You'll notice that the front wheel is different in the pic. They couldn't build my front in time for the weekend due to a parts snafu, so lph lent me his spare front.

Also the Gustavs were a surprise. I was hemming and hawing over Gustav vs. Louise for a while and ordered the Louise. My indecisiveness led to an ordering mixup...one that I'm not going to argue with.

Arty your stable is now my envy...5 Spot or RFX might have to be my next trailbike. The AS-X will last another year or two no prob though.

Nice ride mang. How's it treating you on the trail so far?

    x 1 beeeeellion

Just got back from Dville where I found out that it likes to go really fast over what used to be large obstacles. Still some tweaking to do, especially with the rider. My first ride I was oversteering the hell out of it. Finally by the last ride it started to click, "Just point it dumbass." Now I just need to learn how to go off a 4 footer flat instead of nose down. Nice to know that 888 will just suck it up though.

I'd like to give a separate shout out to the Gustavs. HOLY ##*#%#!!! They're like pure sex for your index fingers. No matter how steep it got or how fast I got rolling, I only needed one finger. And I don't think I ever pulled the levers past half way. The lever resistance ramps up as you pull the levers back. Which is really nice, cause if you mash these suckers you'll think you're a bird. Just because, I decided to give the levers a nice little yank rolling slowly on a fireroad and the whole bike went .

Man oh man. It feels like I just discovered fat skis all over again. Rating to this point...SEXUAL CHOCOLATE!!!

    Sweet rig.

Just remember that crash landings on dirt hurt/cost way more than on the snow. Enjoy the fat ride.

That's ok. My riding partners constantly heckle me for having an entire beach head unto myself.

Isn't that way overkill for a downieville bike?

But nice build, for a north shore type hucker bike, or for shuttling/lifts!

Nice ride! I can't wait to take it for a spin in Moab.

Just remember, regardless of what bike you're riding, there is no good excuse to ever do the Diving Board....ever.

    It's thursday.
It's brand new, built up, sitting there, unridden and he's going to downieville.

Oh come on kidwoo, everyone knows you need at least 7" of travel to clear the waterfall section on Butcher Ranch.

I'd probably let it sit in my garage....like all my bikes.

Too lazy to ride, I'd rather write about it on internet message boards.
