Used Santa Cruz Blur - value?

Local guy on craigslist has this bike for sale --

    http://reno.craigslist.org/bik/180505927.html

I went over and checked it out for Mrs. C., looks to be in good condition overall; stuff I noticed:

    - frame scuffs - mostly minor, but looks like a lot of chain slap on the inside of the right seat stay (none on the chain stay, weird)
    - rear shock (Fox AVA - any good?) needs new bushings
    - fork (Fox Float RLC) adjustments all work fine
    - rear derailleur cage is bent, but shifts OK
    - rear wheel needs truing, front looks OK
    - needs lower stem, not an issue, I have extras

What's it worth? It's an '03 frame; says he built it up in early '05, so 1 season of use. It's the old style Blur, not XC or LT versions available now.

That price looks fair based on the build kit. Maybe offer $1900.00??
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

The things you find on the net.

If I can get it for $1900 -- go for it?

Any thoughts on that Fox AVA shock?

IMO, $2100 for that rig is more than fair. If you can get it cheaper, sweet, but I wouldn't lose sleep over paying full boat for that.
