Is there any that doesn't soak like a wet sponge?
I'm curious if anyone makes goggle foam with closed cell material, and if not, why?

I would guess the reason is that the added ventilation through the open cell foam helps to dispell fogging and allow the foam to act as a 2ndary vent.
Also, Is there any goggle foam that doesn't separate from the frame after several days of wear? I've tried just about every brand and they all tear away from the frame. Most of the time I would just super glue the foam back to the frame, but was just wondering if there were any goggles out there that don't have this problem?
Good Question
Maybe you could do a trial with some of the materials these sites might supply?I know it's a bit obtuse but....

Thats the problem I had with a-frames. I've heard good things about scotts and smiths, but I haven't actually tried themOriginally posted by iskibc

and epoxy/superglue didn't work on the a-frame foam![]()
The closed cell foam against your skin might cause adverse reactions (breaking out, rash, etc due to the inability of your skin to get air. Also might minimize airflow causing goggles to fog even more.Originally posted by Pinner

More fucked up than a cricket in a hubcap
how about mostly close celled foam, with a little bit of open cell just on the part where your face touches it. And BIG, FATTY ram air vents to prevent fogging. Exit vents would also help...
