    Dynafits suck....

Mostly because I was stupid enough not to invest 20 € more to get MegaRides instead of the GRides

Just remember, I will give you free nerdy legal advice when you are caught smoking the pole of that buck you just shot.

Remember, Bill Briggs was up there killing it on what (?!?!) gear. I think that was before Dynafits or Fritschis were around. I'm sure he'd be psyched on either binding. Then again...we could call him and ask. He's in the phone book!
He was on K2 Elite fiberglass 210cm skis with Spademan bindings (modified to not release) and a modified boot that accomodated his right hip fusion. He had wools knee high socks, wool knickers, and a wool sweater, with a light down jacket. An axe/hammer combo, one rope, a few pitons, and no camera.

His set up was old, but light.

No need to call him, I have all that info, and I'm editing it this month. You'll see it soon.

Sorry for not being clear...I wasn't asking about the gear he was on, that's well-known. I was just trying to point out that 'modern' gear is not necessarily the only way to go -- but your point is absolutely clear: his gear was fairly light.

The 'phone book' comment was related to his opinion on Fritschis & Dynafits. Did you get that one on tape (or ask him any similar question re: modern touring setups)?

Cool that he's still @ the 'King, eh?

    Peace.
Well said.I'm actually kicking around a pair of F1s. Have a couple of demos I could use, figure I might as well be a switch hitter.
