You guys need to quit skiing and just hike. Much less gear, and you don't have to worry about your styrofoam bindings releasing on the way down.

Or......you could spend your money on a sled instead.

Pretty soon the world will be ours.

Oh yeah, brakes on Dynafits are pointless and a waste of money.

And a waste of caloric output.

In ten years, I am going to resurface all the Dynafit threads. I bet 80% of you will be on them, or something like them.

The only bad thing about Dynafits is.........they make you a weak ass pussy, cause you learn that light is right.

It might make more sense to suffer with Wrongrides on 90% of your tours, and only break out the Dyna's for days that getting the objective done is high on your priority.

Very true. I toured for many years carrying skis on my back, wearing downill boots and snowshoes. I was in the best shape ever. Pretty much did the same mileage and vertical as I do nowadays. It took me a long time to make the switch over to AT gear because I didn't want to lose that fitness level. I liked the workout and I was used to it. Then I made the move to AT gear and got a bit lazy and fat. Now I'm partly on Dynafits and have seen my fitness level drop a bit again. Thinking I'll only bring them out on long days or big vert.

Obviously you need to talk to P4B and get the German hookup. As for me, I got a sweet deal in the works.

I have a better solution, I will just carry two liters of water for Gramps or Altapowderdaze. Those dumb bastards never carry enough water, then they wonder why they are cramping, bonking, and otherwise feeling like shit after 6 hours on the go.

That's an extra four pounds, that will keep me in shape. I might even carry food for Gramps, cause he never eats during his tours either.

Babysitting will keep you in shape.

Sorry guys, had to say it. You'll be carrying my water soon, as I creep into my geriatric body.

Skiing is so over-rated. I'm gonna get my sled and not even bring my skis along.

Just when you think you starting to get into okay shape, somebody comes along and says something crazy like this. Back to the gym for me(but I am still keeping my dynafits)

What? You better watch it! I'll throw one of those sandbags right at your head! I've gained 10 lbs. over the past year and haven't been able to get over this endurance plateau I've been sitting on for the past 10 months or so. I blame it all on Dynafits.......and a little bit of beer.
