    Seattle mags: Happy hour friday?

On Friday afternoon I will have survived my first full week of work in my new job (last week didn't count since I had Tuesday off). Seems like a damn good reason to drink (as if I or anyone really needs one). Let's meet for happy hour. Somewhere with some good specials, good beer, and a deck.

I've met most of the seattle contingent, but not everyone; so for those of you I haven't, that's another good reason to show up.

I don’t think there's any figure skating shows at this time of the year, so The AD should be able to make it.

I can't make it into the city. When we get our kitchen done, we'll volley out a housewarming invite.

    Har har.

It does interfere with my swimming schedule, though. If you're still drinking at around 7:30 I might be able to make it. I'm getting down to crunch time with my world championship meet in early August, so I can't afford to slack off. I have a 3.4 mile open water swim the next morning, too, but I'm so good a couple beers won't affect me

Sorry to miss the festivities, but I'll be landing in Denver about the time you crack your first beer...

    Talking Friday - 5:30/5:45ish @ Sport Bar?

Sport Bar, across the street from the Space Needle in Fisher Plaza.

I'm gonna meet up with Greydon, BC-Flow, hopefully Graupel & a few others.

I get out of work @ 5pm so I'm planning to be there by 5:30pm if traffic cooperates. Anyone else in town that wants a beer, stop on by!

By 5:30? It isn't like we'll be leaving at 5:30 You know us better than that!

I'm sure we'll be around until at least 7pm.

Like PNWBrit, I too am heading for the hills Friday afternoon as soon as school's out. Have one for me!

Hmmm, maybe you better have two or three, one usually isn't enough.

I definitely deserve a cocktail, but I need to meet the guy who is giving me the ticket.

I don't know if we should change locations this late in the day- but- if it helps you show up and the other two/three know where to go- sure.

Otherwise, I'm still planning on getting to Sport Bar sometime between 5:30 and 5:45.

I'm all about the views, too. Why don't we stick with Sport this week and then plan for next week at either Eastlake Bar & Grille or BluWater Lake Union?
