I love that show. Some of those people suck, but there are more good than bad, I think. And the really good ones are really impressive, not just "yeah I could see where they would develop into something good with a bunch of training."

She was one of my favorites.

Edit: They should have axed the entire bottom three tonight and gotten it over with.

We should have just turned it off after the encore performance... The elimination show concept sucks at the beginning until there are actually good people at risk of getting cut.

No doubt - whittle away 4 or 5 more and things will be interesting. Some serious talent in there.

She is Stevie Nicks with testicles. Too bad she got the lyrics wrong.

Holy shit! Who cares about the lyrics - that was bad ass. Betcha she gets a contract (or picked up by a band at the very least!)

I think it will be interesting to see what SuperNova sounds like when the contest is over. Lee, Clarke and Newsted are all talented musicians, but all play very different music. Voivod is light years away from what Motley Crue does.

hmm, I actually didn't like that although I LOVE the original... I'm not gonna argue that she's not talented, cause she, just seems more suited to Arch Enemy than Nirvana...

Cobain is currently rolling over in his grave that his music is being performed on a show that is the complete opposite of what he stood for musically.

I happened upon this show the other night. Is this show about music and talent or is it a fashion show for uber-trendy industry wanna-bees? Seriously, I've never seen such a laughable bunch of homogeneous "rebels" in my life. I do know that Tommy Lee is a third-rate drummer at best and that Metallica completely lost it the moment Jason Newsted joined. Where's that other "dude" from?

    Wow. That sucked.

Never thought I'd see the clothing style of Avril Lavigne adorning Tom Waits' female vocal twin, combined with the dance skills of Ian Curtis. Now I have.

Gotta agree with El Chupacabra, that sucked. I don't know what was worse the music, the wavery voice, or the dancing. I suppose it could be because of the video quality, but there was no intensity in the music. It sounded like a highschool band was forced play the song without practicing. Between the refined rebel look and her impersonation of Sheryl Crow I was left mostly unimpressed. And that dancing, Jesus give her a just a touch more make up and she'd look like a umpa lumpa. Glad I don't watch that show.

I'd still fuck her though. I would request she give me that honed angry child look though.

You are crazy... she's one of the best female rock voices I have ever heard. No intensity?? Whaaaa? And the band is just a house band.

    Dilana again

I am watching it now. I still don'r understand why Z is still on the show.

Tonight was not one of Storms best performances.

I could not stand Lucas the first couple weeks, I think he's a creepy lookin little dude but the past few weeks I have really liked his singing.

I don't see how anyone other than Dilana could win this thing. I can see her fronting a big deal rock band.

I'm not a fan of Dilana. I find her voice to be grating sometimes. By grating, I don't mean hard core; I mean like nails on fucking chalkboard.

That said, I thought she did an awesome job tonight.

Ryan was really good too, but he's too hit and miss and I don't think he'll fit the band very well.

I really have to disagree with the band though. I thought Storm kicked ass tonight. I normally hate that song, but she brought some life to it tonight. I really dug her arrangement for the whole song. If anything, the band should blame themselves for tossing such a crappy song out there. If they didn't want to hear it, then why put it on the list?

Magni definitely had an off week. His voice was a really bad fit for that song.

Toby killed it last week, but this week just wasn't his deal. That's a really difficult song to pull off. I really only think Peter Gabriel is capable of doing it well. It needs a very specific voice and style that's just unique to him. Still, kudos for giving it a go.

Patrice's vocals were great tonight. Her big problem though was she played for the cameras too much. She looked good when singing for the close-up shot, but from a live audience perspective her performance was severely lacking.

Lukas was solid as always. So far he's my favorite to win. Mainly because I think the band would be at it's creative best with him. The other singers would merely give Supernova a mainstream sound. That's my big beef with Dilana. Her sound is too forced and stereotypical.

As for Zayra, she needed to go a long time ago. I think the band is just keeping her around for eye candy. I haven't been remotely impressed by a single performance of hers and I think she killed herself tonight as far as the competition goes. She sang a latin pop song as an audition for a hard rock band. WTF?!?! That said, it may have been a brilliant career move. She sang pretty damn well tonight in front of a huge TV audience. You've gotta bet someone took notice that she's pretty talented in her genre of choice. She may have lost the competition but gained a contract in the process.

Zayra knows what she is doing. She doesn't want to be in a band with three washed up has beens, anyway. She pretty much told them so from the beginning. She is good television, and she knows it. The longer she is on there, the more likely she gets a Menudo type contract.

I see Dilana or Toby heading this band. Prolly Toby, since he seems to fit with them. I don't think they are looking to break the mold too much with this "band" of theirs. Put a good looking front man up there, belt out a couple of mediocre rock tunes, sell an album based on the TV show, and call it an afternoon.
