I think you should put some more cans in the kitchen ceiling.

    Thank you Your Eminence.

    K. - Don't know where yet. Haven't found the right house for less than a bazillion dollars.

    Thanks Irul, forgot to X-post.

RootSkier - What, 21 cans not enough? (You not the first person to tell me that.) They're on several switches with Lutron dimmers, it works quite nicely.

    J. - It is a sweet house in a fabulous neighbor. However, Mrs. Gadget and I have owned this home for nearly 17 years and were both ready for a change. Plus, we both work in PC.

Pimp kitchen remodel. If you need help with financing on your new place in PC I know of a guy who works in that area.

Two weeks on the market and we're under contract. Wow!

I'm shaking my head and thrilled at the same time .

Rock on gadget. I know the feeling of getting something under contract so fast. Kind of a weird feeling.

Initially I thought you were smoking crack with that price, guess home values have risen more than I thought. Congrats on the quick sale. Then I thought you we're still smoking crack to move away from Neffs to PC, but if it shortens the commute it's a smart idea (+ summer biking in PC is worth the trade off). Good luck, let's hope it's smooth sailing to the closing.

You getting more rentals? Where? I may want to move in with your decorating.

How many houses does a Drugged Monkey need?

Ha. Monkey's will eventually rule. It's unavoidable. We need to chat again sometime. That brief discussion at Buzz's party wasn't enough. I'd definitely like to learn more about how you've done some things.

The homes are next door to each other on Capital Hill. Both 100 year old homes in need of remodeling. Inspector G provided the financing for one of the homes and another maggot financed the other. There are actually 4 different maggots involved in pulling this whole thing together. The houses had to be sold together so it needed some serious collaboration. I just wrapped up my real estate classes and will be taking the licensing exam this Friday in the hopes of keeping more of the profits.

Buzz, these aren't going to be rentals. These are going to be remodeled and then sold. They'll be the first houses I've ever sold. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. Maybe another crackhouse party will be in the near future.

Geez, you are superman. I thought I remembered reading about you doing real estate. Kind up your alley too though. You have been through it a few times. Cool J.

    Crackhouse party, oh boy.
This will be one I hit solo, not taking the wrath of the wife again after luging way too much tequilla. Apparently I was drunk. Who knew?

You and me both, apparently I'm not the only one.

Now I just hope it appraises.

I haven't found the right house yet, I could be homeless in 45 days. Now there's a comforting thought.

There's always Trackhead's RV as a backup (keg not included). Summer in PC, winter in the Alta parking lot!
