some positive vibes would be nice UPDATE

This is not shaping up to be a great year here in mrw land. My mom passed last month, and for the last few months, my wife has been getting massive headaches and occasional gushing nose bleeds. She made a trip to the doctor today and he wants her to get an MRI of the brain asap. He described her symptoms as possible warning signs of a brain aneurysm. I am freaking out. I lost a good friend to an aneurysm 10 years ago. He had the excruciating headaches leading up to his death. I could kick my ass for not picking up on this. I have never loved anyone the way I love this woman.

Don't jump to any conclusions. There is enogh stress without that. Let the doctors run their tests. Listen to them. Hopefully, it will just be allergies, or something that some meds. will cure.

I wish you all the best.

Don't beat yourself up over this. You can do that all day and night for any situation.

What is important is that things are getting done now. You two are taking the steps to being better and she has someone who loves her with her. Thats important.

Best wishes. I hope it is something easily fixed.
Like others have said, the important thing is that you are getting shit done now and that your wife has a partner who loves her who will see her through this.

    MRW,

Oh man this hits close to home. So sorry to hear about your mom. My momma almost died from an aneurysm and subsequent stroke two years ago . Thankfully she's on the road to recovery. We later found out she had a shitton of headache meds stashed away- she presumably mistook these for garden variety migraines and ignored it long enough. Couple that with a high blood pressure spike and the results are not pretty.

Have them do the MRI ASAP...Catching it early is the key to beating this ticking timebomb. Is there a family history of aneurysms or high blood pressure? (Dr ordered to have all of patient's siblings and kids MRI'd immediately. My uncle and aunt were found tp have possible aneurysms but these turned out to be smaller ones that merely required monitoring, not surgery, and I'm up for mine next week.)

I'm thinking all the positive thoughts I can muster for your lady. If I can be of more help, or would like more info feel free to shoot me a PM.
