    Sounds like an excellent plan.

But in the meantime, you need to at least delete this paragraph from the Bro Model page: "We are currently accepting pre-orders for the 05/06 Bro Model. Skis will ship to customers October 2005." It makes it hard to tell friends to feel comfortable placing an order, when you're promising that you'll start shipping eight months ago -- it looks suspiciously like a cobwebsite for a dead company, and people don't send $600 to proprietors of those.

I hear ya, dad. Jeezuz, we have somehow weathered some heavy shit on that shoestring of a site.
Any mags out there wanna build us a new one and come on board in a creative combination cash/stash/sweat equity position?

Plus, we just scored the web addy we wanted, pmgear.com

2P was handling all this until he slipped on his sheepskin and got all doctorfied.
Now, with writing all those pot prescriptions and oxy scripts, he's too impotent to be messin with it much.

I can definitely build you a solid, basic site to keep you going and have current info...but there are others around here that build some amazing/flashy sites. (I think it was meatdrink (maybe?) that shard a site he created for showcasing design work.)

    Yo Splat,
If you need any help with the web site stuff let me know,
I'm more into the backend stuff (dbases, core functionality, etc. )... Find me a good front end person and we can whip up a sweet site that will be easy to maintain and update....

Great to see things continue to move forward. And I will defintely second that Telerob is an amazing kind of guy. One of a kind, but really only a mediocre skier. His bindings always look broken to me.!!!

So, how many more pairs to I have to sell for you to get my own 179s? Seriously. I am and have been an "ambassador" to help push skis. If you need a sales force, let me know. With my avie thing I am working on, I could push Bros too. Food for thought. I should be at the ISSW this October as well. Will work for skis.

Our CEO loves his 188 Softs btw. Thanks Splat and 2P!

    Duh!

The new PmGear factory is in Reno. All the vapors from the meth production will be masked by the vapors from the dozens of other meth houses in the neighborhood.

Load your program to a laptop or an external and we'll look at the Bros files and start designing something new.
I do a lil' CAD - but mostly CAM & have a machine shop to go with it. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with in that dept.

In that case, I vote for a Lotus 138-ish shape, but less symmetrical front to back -- a bigger tip, but not as big as the 'Toons -- with conventional camber underfoot to match the slight conventional sidecut, reverse camber in the tip and tail, and a swallowtail.

Come to think of it, the profile would almost look like a bow -- of the -and-arrow variety.

Whaddya say -- the Bro Model and the Bow Model?

The marketing just writes itself: "What good's your quiver without a Bow?"

What's the benefit of a swallowtail on a ski with reverse camber tip & tail?

I figured it wouldn't hurt, so why not?

But I've been wrong about what would or wouldn't hurt before....

So maybe I fell victim to kitchen-sinkitis. I dunno.
