I've ordered stuff from SAC using UPS shipping to Canada. The quoted shipping rate includes all the applicable taxes & handling charges. It comes to your door w/o any additional hidden charges, so the shipping costs are fairly reasonable. It's too bad they didn't offer USPS as a option for Canadian shipments, cuz most of the items via USPS come straight through w/o any extra charges.
I usually have any items from the US shipped to the UPS depot in Bellingham, WA and just drive down & p/up to save costs. I'm only 30mins or so from border, so it's no biggie to do so. UPS's 'Hold for Pickup' service is free, so it's a nice alternative to having to pay for a PO Box

Naw i'm Canadian and even phoned my friend to ask him if he thought that SAC was a joke, or real. Guess it was real lol. Whatever though, to each their own...might look good in person? lol
Edit: Oh yeah, one of the options for shipping for us canucks is a tariff included one. I never heard of it before ordering from them either, but it works, and the shipping is usually pretty reasonable from there. It'll say beside the shipping option (tariff included)
