Great game. Good to see Ward get the Conn Smythe, kid earned it.

Fuck, I wanted Edmonton bad. Seeing those non-hockey-loving-redneck-sister-fucking-toothless-know-nothing motherfuckers win the cup...sheeeit.
I think I will resort to an emoticon.![]()

this sucks donkey balls.. but props to the canes nonetheless.
when everything in the world is at its darkest, it takes a big man to kick back and party.

edit: sorry about the emoticon, Karl, I was speechless...for once.
Rarely have I seen a post so improved by an edit as Ice's... Not that it was bad before.
Great game; I thought that the Oil Show was going to run out of steam, they looked exhausted by the end of two but came back gritty. It was frustrating watching them in the offensive zone, and especially on the PP- shoot the fucking puck, fuckssake!- and I gotta think the better overall team won. But still, fuck the South.
Side note: did anyone notice the exchange between Eddie Olczyk and Ray Ferraro after the first period? I guess it wasn't really an exchange, it went something like this:
EO: Whatwejustsawtherewastwoverydeterminedteamswhoreal lycame to play. Thatwasaveryphysicalperiod and yougottathinkthatthereisgoingtobealotmorephysicalp laytocometonight. Ray?
[camera turns to Ray Ferraro]
RF: [stares at camera open-mouthed, blinking] "Uh.... Wha?"
Bill Clement: JD, whattaya got for us?
heh, me and the kid were talking about that at the time, classic deer-in-in-the-headlights moment for sure.Originally Posted by Steven S. Dallas
