bummer you lost a shoe, but cool that you competed. And damn this piece of crap hotel dial up...can't download the vid.

Lots of big names in this one. Was it sanctioned by IFSA?

Are you coming down to the Kirkwood comp this year? I just pre-registered (and am trying to get hardrider to enter too

why didn't they have it on that big peak next door where they did last year? or were only the qualifiers under the lift?

that first guy rips it good, but it looks like he probably lost about 2 feet of edge in the process...

edit: blurred, thanks for your amazing contribution to the thread.

Gonzo - the footage I downloaded showed them on Center chute of Roberts. A real nice steep entrance into a steep chute. It looks like they could have use a bit more snow to cover all the christmas trees in there. It used to be a sweet run, you used to be able to tour up 3-4 days after a snowfall and get first tracks. Unfortunately it gets soo skied nowadays that unless you get huge dump after dump you are skiing hard pack with pow on top.
    You are what you eat.

Yeah beav. I didn't watch the second of the two videos till just now - I guess the qualifiers were under the lift? You can understand my intial confusion. We skied that chute on Roberts with Pyg, MD9, Honc last year at the summit (sorry for packing out your chit!). Pyg pointed out all of the lines that were had in the comp just before we got there. I think he said Paterson got 3rd.

    Blurred, you rule.
