Dear Bike Enthusiast,


Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Somerset County are excited to be hosting USA Cycling National Festival. Races are slated for July 5 through July 16, 2006. The event will feature 2,500 athletes including some of America’s most talented road cyclists.

This is a very big opportunity to showcase Western Pennsylvania to people from all over the country. The scenery and challenging terrain are sure to provide a great venue for the USA Cycling National Festival.

The event will feature a time trial and a road race, which will require a significant amount of course marshals to assure safety for the athletes. The time trial course and the road race course will require 60-70 marshals each. Therefore, the local organizing committee is in need of many volunteers to help make the event a success.

Volunteers will be asked to give 4 to 8 hours of their time any day between July 5 and July 16. . Each volunteer will receive an event T-shirt and a chance to win bike swag or gifts from Seven Springs and other event partners. Marshals will be entered into the raffle once for each day they volunteer.
