Music Rec request: Diesel, angry stuff for lifting

I started a lifting routine a couple of weeks ago and really like it... and also realized I love listening to angry rock music (how cliche, right) when I lift.

However, being a recovering sorority girl I never really was exposed to any of this stuff, so I want some recs. The louder, angrier, more get you pumped up to kick ass, the better.

Some stuff I like to get you started:

    Blood Milk & Sky... 4ZMZK
    Violence Fetish... Disturbed
    #1 Crush... Garbage
Pretty Piece of Flesh.. One Inch Punch
Show Me How to Live... Audioslave
    Click Click Boom.. Saliva
    Control... Puddle of Mud
also have some Korn, Puddle of Mud, Rob Zombie on there, but I like the other stuff better...

In real life, I like blues, hendrix, etc, mainly lots of classic rock but I find it's just too mellow, or, not angry enough, for lifting.

So let me know what you guys have Thanks everyone

Buckethead - The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell is a pretty angry album. Can't go wrong. there

Also, another Buckethead song ("Jump Man"--off Monsters and Robots) is great for exercise.

Rage Against The Machine. Need I say more?

Ozzie Osbourne - "No More Tears" - A classic

    That cracks me up^^

When I want some loud, angry tunes to motivate me, I usually turn to NYC-styled hardcore bands such as: (all conveniently on myspace for your listening pleasure )

Strength for a Reason (went to HS with these guys)- http://www.myspace.com/strengthforareason
    Madball - http://www.myspace.com/madball
Sick of it All - http://www.myspace.com/sickofitallny
    Agnostic Front - http://www.myspace.com/agnosticfront

These few aren't "NYC hardcore" like the above, but still plenty loud, screamy, and well...motivational

Small Brown Bike - http://www.myspace.com/smallbrownbike04 (Zerosum and See You in Hell in particular...love the lyrics)
Planes Mistaken For Stars - http://www.myspace.com/pmfs
Threadbare - http://www.myspace.com/threadbaremn (loved these guys...the song "Twenty One" fucking rules..it's so fucking raw)

I could list a ton more.....

Bloodsweatsteel - Nice pic on Downset. I'm kinda partial to their first release...although that ragin song they sing in Spanish on "Language" (can't remember the name) rules. Hadn't thought about those guys in a long time

I knew Ty would have some recommendations... Ditto on Planes Mistaken For Stars, check out "Belly full of Hell" if you get a chance. I've actually been listening to Clutch in the gym recently and, judging by the massive size of my guns, I'd say that's been pretty effective.

Did I say massive? I meant "mind-bogglingly huge."

So do I get tickets to the gun show at the next summit?

Thanks everyone for your recs... I just filled up my ipod with a solid 6 hours (100 songs) of angry stuff and hopefully shall now become suitably ripped.

Killing Joke's last couple of albums both peel the paint from the walls: self-titled (from 2003) and Hosannas from the Basement of Hell (released a couple of months ago).

Slipknot has some okay stuff. Zebrahead as well. Clutch and Sick of It All are also excellent choices.

Edited to note that slipknot has a song called "Pulse of the Maggots."

I've gotten into a band called Bloodsimple recently. Might be worth a try.

Cold has some good stuff too, although their first album is the heaviest. I think they sound like a heavier, more hard-rock/light-metal Bush. Check out "13 ways to bleed onstage", their first album. I think you'd like them.

I, as a metalhead, am also into Static-X and Fear Factory and As I Lay Dying...

MTV has put out some GREAT metal/hard rock compilations under the "Headbanger's Ball" moniker. I've been listening to Headbanger's Ball - The Revenge quite a bit recently.

You need four albums and only four:

    Slayer -- Reign In Blood
    Pantera -- Cowboys from Hell
System of a Down -- Steal this Album
    Megadeth -- Best of

I have an "angry" playlist I always listen to when I'm working out and a few I would add for ya:

    Get free - the vines
Terrible Lie - Nine Inch Nails
BYOB - System of a Down
Holiday In Cambodia - Dead Kennedys
Thunder Kiss '65 - White Zombie
When Worlds Collide - powerman 5000
How I Could Just Kill A Man - Rage Against the Machine

    Sprite

    Edit: what sorority?

Tacoma, I just wrote this long-ass post about sorority life and it disappeared. It was pretty funny too. SHEE-YAT!

Anyhoo...it was Pi Beta Phi and suffice to say that it is there that I learned how to properly clean a toilet, cook noodle and fish casserole, and be trusted to hold on to rather large quantities of money without making a run for it.

    Sprite

(Oh, and it was at Zoo-Conn in Snores, CT in the 80's so yeah...happy hour was in effect at all times)
