I spoke to a customer today in Mobile, AL who said the Gulf water temp is already 80 degrees F. They are gearing up for the season already.

That is not that uncommon. I think the water temp has been 80ish in June every year I have lived here. Maybe just a little early this year.

Remember, it is just a big pond in these parts. You have to go pretty far out from shore to be in 100+ feet of water.



At those depths, we heat up pretty quick.

On the other coast, you go offshore 1 mile, and you are in deep ass water.
