OK, can someone walk us through exactly how to order from these guys? Also, what is the difference between all of the models. I'm looking for a light AT race set-up for Rando Racing.

The big problem with the race-specific models is the lack of *any* fore/aft adjustment combined with the Dynafit design's extreme sensitivity (somewhat addressed by the Comfort's longer pins) to the spacing between the boot and the heel unit. For example, even though a mounting job that is off in the fore/aft plane by merely 2mm would still be okay for any other binding (including all traditional Dynafit models), with the race-specific models it would be really messed up. (And you can always save a little weight by foregoing the plastic spacers on the metal heel elevator, or just dremmelling off the metal heel entirely.)
And if you figure out how to order from them, let me know if you're interested in combining orders, which has saved lots of $$ for me on previous European orders even when people on the other side of the country.

pow4brains figured it out--and the pricing on his 05/06 comforts was better than proform pricing last year (although it looks like the new 06/07 model pricing @ 239 Euros will probably match pro-pricing come december).

i agree on the race editions...they save some weight, but you definitely have to be ultra-precise (even more than with comforts) in the mount, and you'll probably have to remount if you change boots down the line.

weight savings is around 250g / 0.5 lbs (including the weight savings from not using a brake), and the price difference is pretty big.

    i agree on the
