About seven members of the group picketed outside St. John Catholic Church during the Marine's funeral, carrying signs that read "Thank God for dead soldiers," "You're going to hell," and anti-gay epithets. Group members believe that American soldiers are dying because of the nation's tolerance of gay people.

I hate how someone could bring themself to go and disrepect someone like that, especially someone who fought and died for them. They go on and on about sanctity of life with stem cell research and Terry Schaivo and then when it comes to respecting the life and death of another human being, they go and protest right outside the funeral and praise God for his death.

How can someone possibly be so idiotic and vile to do that?

The early church was persucuted by the Romans and due to its persecution had the quickest adoption rate of a religion sans 9th century muslims which was a convert or die scenario.
