Almost 20 pages and no mention of The Dead Milkmen... for when you're stoned want your punk rock making fun of everything and anything, including itself. Tiny Town was our anthem for breaking out of our little logging town in western Maine.

Loved the d.m.'s back in the day. Kept a t shirt in the vault for passing on to posterity.

Anyone mention The Idles yet? Some crazy intense songs and lyrics from them, not standard punk by any means. That said, here's more of a 'classic' punk song from them. Just found out about these guys yesterday

Just caught Bad Religion in Phoenix this weekend. Great mix of older songs and a few off their new album, which I really like too. Last time I saw them was 6+ years ago in New Jersey. You folks are way more mellow on the west coast than the NYC scene!

Holy shit, thanks for the memories. Saw GBH in 1987 at the Lost Horizon is Syracuse. One of the most violent pits I've ever been in. Great show and a lot of fun.

Of course now that I'm an old fart I learn about new bands reading the Sunday Boston Globe. Good article on this band a month ago. Grooving on the pop punk sounds.

Totally, combine Rise Against's tempo with Propagandhi's weird chord structures and rhythms and sprinkle in a little Eddie Van Halen tapping and you've got these guys.

Silly me, I thought Pennywise was the headliner. I mean, I practically assumed it cuz that is where my brain is. But wife bought the tix for our anny so didn't look.
But yeah, just too too short of a set. Downside of 4 band line-up.

They're not bad, and you're not wrong... but I was hoping for more "How to Clean the Unraveling" and this sounds more like "Failed Wolves".

The first three Vandals albums were in constant rotation in my college house; but the first EP is an absolute classic.

Yes!! The Vandals have not made a bad record yet (knock on wood). Even their worst is better than most bands best.

Saw Agnostic Front a few weeks ago. Stigma was great and I got to meet Roger before the show and he signed my copy of the 35th Anniversary of Victim In Pain. They take it to another hole different level.
