Never ordered anything from them before. When I lived up in Jackson I knew some people who worked there and they knew what they were talking about. I wouldn't worry too much about ordering anything from them. They seem to know their shit.
never gotten anything from them, seem to know their stuff, but my buddies in JH call them 'teton profiteering'
Always charging it in honor of Flyin' Ryan Hawks.
Not really a fan of the attitude I get when in the shop, but they're definitely legit. Sometimes it's no service or simply wrong information (not true for 100% of the folks there, but it happens more often than not).
Do they have something you absolutely can't get anywhere else? If not, you can probably find the item cheaper elsewhere, and you're not really getting any service from ordering online.

Mostly I just go to browse and have a chuckle while the clueless trustfunders talk down to me for asking a question.

i actually had a good experience there. no attitude but actually help when i was trying to get approach beta. though, i have heard of those attitude problems.
kinda depends on when you go. the older folks, in my experience, are usually more helpful; the younger, seasonal help, less so.Originally Posted by AltaPowderDaze
i used to be really high on that store and think it was the coolest place (they do have some interesting photos on the stairs to the 2nd floor)....but then after enough attitude i decided to spend my $$ elsewhere.
they did have a decent sale on climbing gear (everything 15% off) the other weekend, and i did roll in to buy a couple new daisy chains. one guy, when i first walked in, was very cool (and psyched that i was in there, thinking about climbing gear while on crutches). the other (the one that run up the transaction) was downright rude.
hate to say the above, but it is based on many experiences over the years. i don't need tons of service -- in fact, i don't usually need advice. i simply want people to be as polite and respectful as i am of them. simply but rare.
