    Quickie Summit Update

    Hey Everyone --

Just a quick update on Summit Planning. I've been pretty quiet for awhile on this front...but things should be picking up in the next few weeks or so.

Working on some angles on discounted lift tickets for everyone (thanks Geoff! ) that are all looking promising. And I should have some economy lodging deals available as well.

Apres-ski events (one of which will be charity oriented) & maggot bashes are in the works as well.

I'll be out all next week (jesus, this is beginning to sound like a job ), and won't be able to put the finishing touches on anything until after that.....But sit tight. Me and my crack team are working on it.

    Peas,

Still can't post concrete stuff, but it looks like the dates of 3/12 & 3/13 in particular are going to be fun. [/keepingfingerscrossed]

making progress on some lift ticket dealies, multiple maggot bashes, and a few lodging options.

    more details hopefully next week.

I think a very quick left turn would be a good idea in this spot.

    Some Lodging and Bash Trivia...

Was talking to the Shoe tonite as he completes his East Coast Tour.......here's what I told him...........

I have secured The Battered Beaver Saloon at Kirkwood for a maggot mega-bash with live music for a night while we're on the SLT end of the tour. Private Party or Open to All (which is usually the weed locals - and they're cool). Option on bashing the Beav includes staying right next door so y'all can get as fukked up as you want and NOT DRIVE, then slide straight to the lifts out the front door in the morning.

The accomodations are the Kirkwood Tower (the highest building in Kirkweed) and it's kinda high dollar but schwwwwaaaank. Each unit has two bedrooms, a master with a king and another bedroom with two doubles, as well as a double futon or two in the living room, plenty of floor space and the best view in the valley. Has a kitchen and three bathrooms. If someone wants a little honeymoon nest and will throw down extra for the master for proper baaaaad animal sex and is willing to throw down more - and someone on the floor pays less, I'm sure we could categorize costs. I've had some major wild times in the Tower and it rocks!

    The price!!!!!! Unfortunately, it's spendy.

Like $350 a night. But split 10 ways per unit it's cheap if some take the floor. I'll even bring extra sleeping bags for out-of-towners. Plus if we get two units, we own the whole floor. It's slopeside and way cool. Something to consider for proper preparation for a Beaver Rager.

    I love The Beaver.
The trumpet scatters its awful sound Over the graves of all lands Summoning all before the throne

Death and mankind shall be stunned When Nature arises To give account before the Judge

Nice job mengs...for anyone looking for lodging, I got a place off of www.vrbo.com and it seems like there's a lot of stuff still available. Check 'er out- there's a ton of stuff in South Lake, condos to giant-ass houses- and may I suggest theuber-Maggot compound? We're staying up in the Donner area, but you can bet yo' ass I'll be at the Battered Beaver Bash- stoke is onnnn.
