    Lick Bush in 2004

I saw this in the morning paper. Check out the old lady holding the little sign on a popsickle stick saying "Lick Bush in 2004"

Maybe its just me, I thought it was hilarious.

I wish I still owned the car that had:

"Lick Bush in 88" on it. That would be a nice combo.

Michael Moore set up a great anti bush commercial contest and you can see the winner on this site. You can make a payment of whatever you can contribute to try and get the winning commercial played during the superbowl.

If you believe that bush is a major problem and you want to open peoples eyes this is a great way to do it. Please repost this where you see fit and email it to friends and colleagues.

I disagree with the context of this message as I rather like my President, at least from a leadership point of view, but I'll be the first to say I fuckin' HATE texas. I'm thinkin' of making a bumper sticker with the TX flag upside down, and have it say FUCK TEXAS under that. That or I'M Messing with Texas! But I think that last one's gay when compared to the other.

I'm just sick of Texas dominating this country. This ain't Tex-ass, yo.

    hey jetter...just curious...

what do you like about your president??

do you like the millions of jobs lost or the trillion dollar debt that we are looking at now?

Do you like the fact that hes covering up his intentions of going into Iraq since the day he took office?

Or do you like the fact that he relies on fear tactics and the word terrorist to push his legislation?

    I could go on...

I would honestly like to hear what you like about Bush, cause I dont really see any positives.

Don't feel alone Jetter, I'm with you. It's great to have a president who recognizes the threats we are facing from Islamic terrorism and has the balls to stand up to them. It seems that alot of people do not understand that our way of life is in danger.
All it takes is one dirty bomb or bilogical attack. Just think where we would be if Gore had won and the situation he would have us in after 9/11 . "Stop or I'llsay Stop again" Screw the United Nations, which is the most racial and anti US organization out there.
The deomcratic party is looking pretty worthless these days with the sorry bunch of candidates they have.
I may not agree with everything Bush does, but he sure beats the alternatives!!!!!!!!!

negative. CBS rejects anti-bush superbowl ad note this part:

"A CBS spokesman said the decision against broadcasting the spot had nothing to do with either the Super Bowl or the ad's specific issue but was because the network has had a long-term policy not to air issue ads anywhere on the network."

i can't wait to see the white house national drug control policy office advertising products instead of issues this year...

I guess Bush and his disciples have the same level of coherence and spelling ability.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and political beliefs, its what makes this country great and worth protecting. I just feel that Bush misuses his power and misleads the american public. I just wish there was someone willing to tackle the problems here at home and work towards making our country better. What about healthcare and jobs? What about helping OUR people?

I want a president that can speak eloquently and write his own speeches based on his/her political beliefs. I want a president whose actions make me proud. Is that so much to ask?

I just want to know which candidate will provide me with guarenteed free healthcare, and a living wage. Then I can finally transition to a job as a lift attendant. Work a little, ski, and take the summer off.

    That would be awesome!

well, I've had the pleasure of being assigned there on multiple occasions, and my opinion is that the place is a wretched hellhole. Flat, hot as hell, windy, humid, gack. No redeeming values to me. That and there are a lot of loud, obnoxious folks from there that I find quite annoying. Probably like how somebody in North Carolina feels about Californians. I just can't understand why so many people would want to call the place "home", and why my employer chose to build so many damned bases there.

I dunno. Yeah I know it's gay, but with what I've been through...forget that place, dude.

God, I hate myself for having to say this, it's a total cop-out. But given who my employer is, I'm really can't get into this much more...I could actually get in a fair amount of trouble for it, and that's not trouble I need.
But I can say that in general, it is nice to see a president somewhat shoulder the same burdens we do, with the carrier landing and the Baghdad appearance during thanksgiving - it's definitely appreciated. At the same time, props to Hillary for doing the same thing. And to those who'd diss the landing, he is/was a rated pilot of a fighter - Air Force pilot training is not easy, and quite frankly the instructors there don't give a damn who your daddy is. He made it through. I won't mention the sign stuff, but my thoughts are negative.
Also, when I see the post 9/11 speeches to the nation the pres gave, those still send chills down my spine - "To our nation's military - be ready." Damn.
Yeah, the "bring it on" comments may have been too...inviting, I suppose...but in general it appears that we have a white house that cares for the plight of the airman/soldier/seaman/marine, and looks out for us and our benefits. There still are things done that piss us off, but in general it seems like we are more valued now than during that last 8-year run, and this fight we've got may be a result of that 8-year run - maybe the world is headed in a better direction. Actually this fight is a continuation of a cultural struggle that has gone on since before the days of the Greeks fighting the Persians. As much as the Cold War was between two different ideologies, here we are again. I'd almost say the cold war never ended - western society vs. eastern.

and that's about all I can say, publicly. PM me if you'd like specifics. sorry guys.

and KQ...good to see you on again you kinda dropped off there for a little while...I'm late noticing ure back, but I AM noticing...

Getting a little off topic here, but anyone else think the latest batch of anti-marijuana ads are just laughably lame? The one that cracks me up is the girls at the swim meet who can't swim because their fourth relay member is out getting high! Yeah, that happens all the time

These ads are about one step up from "reefer madness" in my book.

Especially just before/after a booze advert..."hey, enjoy some substance abuse! Just make sure it's liquid!"
