    PAGING BAKER / B'HAM

I would be my honor to present to the local maggots a digital flick about life, skiing, and psychedelics, presented with some beer, perhaps other essential sessioning tools.... davedm@xmission.com

    Since this is Baker mags
Do you guys know what the wheather supposed to be this weekend.
From what I heard rain, which scares me.
I'm coming down to chill at a cabin from Vancouver, wondering if I should even bring my skis.

EXTENDED WEATHER FORECAST ...SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
Increasing light to moderate rain or snow Saturday with snow
levels lower in the Cascades passes. Rain or snow should be
heaviest in the Olympics and north Cascades. Rain or snow should
decrease Sunday morning. Light to moderate rain or snow again
later Sunday with a possible change to free air snow levels at
the Cascade passes. Light rain or snow showers Monday.

    SNOW LEVELS
    4-6000 ft N 5-7000 ft S Sat...lower Cascade passes
    3-5000 ft N 4-6000 ft S Sun...lower Cascade passes possibly
rising to free air levels later Sun
    2-4000 ft N 3-5000 ft S Mon

It's a crap shoot but what the hell, bring the skis.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

    Hijack!

Who's got the scoop on glacier rental rates? Say I was to buy a *very nice* brand new 3 bedroom cabin, throw in a hot tub and sauna, and a waxing room, what would it go for on the weekend?

Also, what would something like that go for on a monthly basis?

FWIW, we paid 119 a night in Maple Falls for a 1BD house w/ a hot tub. This was new years weekend, so the rates are probably less than that normally. I know a couple who own a 2 bd condo in glacier and they get 189 a night for weekends. Complex has a pool/hot tub/weight room.... Rumor has it there are condo's avail for less than the price of a car up there...good luck!
