Good stuff.
After almost 3.5 weeks of wearing a cast....in the month of May in Colorado....with a new bike sitting unbuilt and unridden...I decided to take some drastic measures.
The first measure wasn't actually very drastic, I needed to finish my bike build. After being summoned to the shop at 9:30 am on Saturday to kick-off the 10yr Anniversary of The Singletrack Factory I got a nice little spring bonus, then we tapped the keg. I was off the clock and wasn't working on anything but my own bike...thats probably good, cuz the beer was going down easy. There was big street festival on the block this weekend so the shop anniversary was just our own little contribution to the festivities and new and old customers alike were coming back to partake in the keg that was about 4 feet away from my workstand.
I got eventually got the bike finished...

but evidently I was a bit faded and loose because after riding yesterday I flipped my bike over and discovered this....

I think it says alot about SRAM triggers that I was able to shift flawlessly a whole lot with that set up...however it will obviously be remedied today. Kind of embarrassing.
This fork is sick. I am thinking of selling and upgrading to the 36 Van RC2 to get some more adjustability, but out of the box this thing is focking buttery, plush and stiff.

In fact, it was so buttery and plush I was able to rally around Golden Gate Canyon SP for 2.5 hours like this with no pain or issues

All in all, I'm claiming a personal top 5 ride of all time. New bike(which absolutely impressed the hell out of me, I'm blown away by how good the rear end feels), riding with buddies from work with the shop closed, perfect weather, overcast skies, awesome trails that I was riding for the first time, and my first ride after 3.5 weeks of JONESIN. Good stuff. The cast comes off on Wed, I hopefully will be getting a brace formed around a grip, and its on like a Tron bananna congac special.
