Positive vibes needed for our dog

We woke up this monring, and found our dog keoni having a sezizure that lasted ~10 min. We imediatly took him to the vet hospitalbe, where they took blood and urin samples and held him for observations. They jsut called saying that he had another seizure, and his blood came back fine, but he has blood in his urin.

This has been the best dog we have ever had, he was trained for avy rescue by Stevens pass, and is our best friend.

Please send keoni some +++++ vibes.

I thought my dog was having a seizure once. Took him to the vet right away and they couldn't find anything wrong with him. It was like 3 years and go and nothing has happened since. Scared the shit outta me. Hope everything turns out well.

My dag had very bad seizures frequently for several months, finally they found out that it was a thyroid problem, that is commen in shepards, and was very treatable and she is now fine

Vibes sent. For what it's worth, and like people the same symptoms can mean very different things in two individuals, but my cousin's Golden just started having siezures after 6 years of great health. They have ran the battery of tests at both her local vet and the University of Minnesota Vet Hospital. Origanally they thought it could have been from a mold from corn (they live on a farm in Wisconsin) or alge from a farm pond. After all the tests, Emma (the dog) keeps coming back normal. The advice is to just keep her calm and let her rest after a siezure. She is expected to be just fine with the exception of an occasional seizure.

I would absolutly get atleast two opinions on this before you act. Also take a very close look enviromentally. Is their something your dog could have gotten into, plant, alge, etc that could be causing this. The Blue alge in my part of the world can be very toxic to dogs, though it usually only shows up at the end of summer and into fall, about the time my hunting dog is looking for a drink after chasing birds all day.

    Good Luck, and again...vibes
    Jay

    Dear all who are concerned,
Keoni seems to be doing fine And I am so greatfull for those that took the time to give your xxoos to my baby. This dog means so much to us and he is my best friend and considered the jealous boyfriend. Grant often sleeps on the couch when keoni forces him out of the bed. Again I thank you all and if anyone has any more advice don't hesitate to voice it.
    Love Rochelle and keoni dog.
Hopefully he will get well and nothing serious is wrong and if you are at Baker and you find yourself in over your head in powder he'll be there to dig you out, well that is if your not a gapper.

Also for what its worth, a friends dog started to have seizures that were thyroid/kidney related after it found some old antifreeze. Fortunately he got him to the Vet in time.
