You're out of Vail right? I'm just wondering if you know a boarder..I think he boards anyways, named John Flaherty? I think he still lives around there and rides Vail. I grew up with him, his older brother and I used to beat the crap out of him but he always came back for more. Sick little ripper when we were kids too.

Yeah dude, Im familiar with Flaherty. I never hung out with him really, but alot of my friends did. He used to live in this huge house in Matterhorn called the White House. The fucking place went off every weekend, sometimes over 500 people would be there...really. The place was fucking crazy. Those dudes used to party like rock stars. If I remember right, he was seeing this chick named Kat that worked at Vendettas. All of those guys got into coke real hard, and then all of a sudden they did'nt live in that house anymore. I haven't talk to him or any of those other people for at least 2 years, (I moved to Summit Co.)so I'm kind of out of the loop and I don't know where he lives now. Sorry I could'nt help you more...If you really want to talk to him, next time I see my friend Barry over there, I'll ask. He'll be able to tell me where he is.

right on, thanks Brett. I was just kinda wondering how he was doin n whatnot. Really positive to hear he does tons of yayo, good for him. You gotta have hobbies and goals. Way to set the bar high John, shoot for the stars and all that.....

Vinz's best John Flaherty memory: His family and mine are at our house in Vermont. John, his older brother Andrew and I are making blow guns out of pins, tape and straws and shooting the darts at wooden targets. They were kinda tricky to make...well, to get them to fly straight, so any good ones you'd want to keep. John takes one of Andrew's good darts and tries to take off with it. We are up in a loft and Andrew says "gimme that back or I'll shoot you!" John, being cocky and stupid says "No way! you'll never hit me!" Andrew waits until John is down the spiral staircase, takes aim, exhales hard and THWACK!!! 3 inch pin goes through John's shirt and buries it's self into his shoulder. John screams in pain and then falls down a set of stairs to the bottom floor.

So awesome! Andrew and I got grounded for 2 weeks but I'm pretty sure I pissed myself laughing. John had to complain and call us dicks so when we had to re-stock the firewood we stripped him down to his skivvies and made him run around in the woods at night in 4 feet of snow, prolly 25 degrees out.

That's funny as shit dude. I'm sure if you ever go to Vail, that you can go into Vendettas on Bridge street, and they'll know where he's at....he's a pretty popular guy there.
