Are you aware of the approach?
Many of the Forest roads are still covered in snow. Approaching the south side of Mt. Adams, Forest Roads 80 and 8040 are open to near Road 782. This is approximately 4.5 miles from the South Climb Trailhead.
I’m going next weekend (and hoping for better weather).

Thanks for the heads up - I am planning an evening slog in, overnight low camp and early punch.

If it doesn't feel good the first time, double the speed and try again.
It's snowing at Paradise.
Get ready to get wet.

333 chutes or go home
there will never be no peace, down here, in a babylon
After reviewing the road situation and the weather forecast, cancelled and headed for Rainer instead. Hiked up to Camp Muir for some above the clouds action. Nice snow above 7,000, very wet below. 18" new over the weekend, but temps on Monday up to 55+ at 9,000.

Sounds lovely. I’m sure things were getting a little sweaty, maybe a point release or two? How were things down in Kickerland? I want to spend more time hitting the windlips on the lower 1,000 feet of the mountain.temps on Monday up to 55+ at 9,000.
Heading to Adams this weekend, but things aren’t looking much better from a road or weather standpoint.
