    Mt. Adams this weekend

Last minute plans put me in the neighborhood with a burning itch. Anyone game?

Thanks for the heads up - I am planning an evening slog in, overnight low camp and early punch.

After reviewing the road situation and the weather forecast, cancelled and headed for Rainer instead. Hiked up to Camp Muir for some above the clouds action. Nice snow above 7,000, very wet below. 18" new over the weekend, but temps on Monday up to 55+ at 9,000.

Sounds lovely. I’m sure things were getting a little sweaty, maybe a point release or two? How were things down in Kickerland? I want to spend more time hitting the windlips on the lower 1,000 feet of the mountain.

Heading to Adams this weekend, but things aren’t looking much better from a road or weather standpoint.
