How many different runs have you hit so far this year?

Lochsa, Golden Canyon, Lolo, Bear Creek, Kootenai Creek, Upper Fish.

Damn...only six. But I have boated 15-20 times already. Awww yeah.

Also, only paddled with one other maggot so far. Gotta fix that before the year is out.

I'm sure our paths will cross this year.

    As for my runs:

Canyon SF Payette, Staircase SF Payette, Lower 5 NF Payette, Main Payette, Murtaugh Canyon on the Snake, park n play on the Boise

I've missed a lot of trips with bros this year so far. Damn you home ownership.

Yeah, he's solid. He grew up in Grangeville and lives down here now. I haven't paddled too much with him though.

Yonder_River - post on the wood situation after your W Fork run. That's a fun one, especially the Z gorge. Also, check out Woods Creek above W Fork at peak for a cool manamade slide (200 ft long) and some falls.

Not as many as I'd like...but so far:

    Blackfoot (Roundup to Johnsrud)
    Clarks Fork - B's Wave
    Gallatin
    Yellowstone (Springdale)
    Lochsa - Upper and Lower
    Lower Fish Creek

Lets get together soon Root. Maybe flows will be more manageable for intro runs in the 'Root this week?

Well, the levels bumped up above 300 on Sunday and were a bit high for that section (at least for us). We opted to do the last 3 miles of the West Fork till we hit CC. We cut a few logs out here and there and it is good to go. At high flows it is worth hitting up. Fun non-stop 4+/5- super fast boogie water with about three eddies the whole way.

From what I've heard, the main run was good to go as of two weeks ago.

RIP to Adam Barron who drowned on Vallecito this weekend.

I stopped at Kootenai the other day the check it out...there are all these new signs telling kayakers not to trespass...which you must do to paddle it. It sucks. I don't know how it will all play out, I don't really understand why the landowners have a stick up their ass about people hiking across 50 yards of their land right next to the parking lot and not anywhere near their house.

But yeah, flows will be pretty good.
