By the way, for the cheap bastards:
You can get an MRG ticket for friday for $25 if you are a NJ resident, college student or know someone with an MRG season pass. Just go to their coupons page, sign up and print out (its personalized).

oh, and the 30th is a friday, so the 31st is the real MRG day.

My vote goes to MRG Saturday KMart sunday. Good fire, C-Dog
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

Count me in for either Pico or Killington Sunday (I think K will be fine on Sunday...Saturday is their bad day). Not sure I can keep up w/ you guys but it would be great to say hi! Where & when do we meet and all? Maybe we should agree on a radio channel?

You know, I was at SB last weekend and while it was reeeally cold...if you're geared up it's not so bad. Just ski hard and you don't feel it!

    Sprite,

To get my mojo working correctly, I usually ski in a speedo and lather myself in copious amount of mayonnaise.

The extreme cold is tough, what with the shrinkage and all.

Edit: because I can't spell mayonnaise without the spellchecker.

What's the MRG comp. for Saturday?? Maggots should crash it.
I'm still in for Saturday, but if there are really only going to be three people then I might wait and see.

    Sprite:

Saturday at the bush rocked, the snows been in fantastic shape, especially in the trees. I spent the entire day at North, saw maybe 5 people. The mountains been in the best shape since the early pummeling we recieved in Dec. Was cold as balls though, got some nice frost bite which is flaking off my cheek now. Sprite, where did you ski?

Cantdog...I probably skiied right by you (or...er, you probably skiied right past me is more like it!)

We didn't take the shuttle to the other side. Basically just skiied Birch Run a lot and also went over to the far left (can't remember what that's called). It was brrrrr cold! But yes Saturday it was awesome conditions!

Sunday was also incredible. We stayed on the far left and did organgrinder a lot and all the other little trails. It was hella windy on that side but no people so we stuck it out. I thought they might open that connector chair but they didn't and we got a late start so didn't want to waste time getting the shuttle.

I loved the lack of crowds. I was able to really get my ski legs last weekend b/c I didn't have to worry about tripping over kids and being bumped by people. It also helped that we left my kid at home so I could kind of focus on my skiing more.

Not sure if we rode a lift up together or anything but I wear a light green & grey jacket & grey pants, metallic grey fuse helmet and always have my hair in 2 long braids (brown hair).

basom--i'm climbing with nhALpineturns saturday, thinking of hitting jay and maybe doing bigjay with you boys sunday, although it will probably be worked to fuck by then. so maybe you guys ski it and let me know if it's worth buying the half price tix at jay vs. hitting killi on nhalpineturns's pass.

zittle: i have to hang like 15 doors and trim out an entire "pool house", which is twice as big as any normal house, by friday. probly cant make it then. cantdog: yeah come up for sunday at jay, gin and i will give you the grand tour.

BIll- sweet dude, you should come to barton on saturday night. we were thinking of doing BJ on sunday anyways cause they have had a lot of snow this week and its been soooo cold no one has been skiing the poo poo. i dont think it will get so played on sat, but if there is crazy crouds (man there are a lot of jersy and new york plates in the lot theses days) then i'll scope it on sat. we also might be able to work you a jay pass (a-dog is maybe not skiing cause he has to get ready to leave for cham on monday)

I might be in for sunday at Kmart...I was planning on visiting a friend at RPI, but this might take presidence over that. Plus, if it snows at all I will be there.

I went to Pico monday with my gf and the conditions were less than what I expected. They had two diamonds open and very poor coverage considering the temps and snow they recieved. Killi would be much better I assume.
Just ski down there and jump of a somethin' fer cryin' out loud!

    Thumbs up

I can be at Kmart or Pico on Sunday. Rather be Kmart since there's more woods to play in and hide from the crowds.
    Count me there either way.

    Go

No offense guys but this is funny, the same thing always happens when these try and get organized. In the beggining of the thread everyone was going to Killington both days, then some were going to MRG on saturday, then some decided to hit Jay on Sunday, and finally the EC Mini has nearly dissapeared. I was supposed to go to EC minis two years in a row and only once did we get anyone together at some eort of kind of coordinated thing, but it was fun. Hope this happens finally.
