Yeah, the weather out my window is rumbling and dark.

I guess we'll see what it looks like in another two hours and go from there....I may just end up riding the Quarry if it looks dark up BCC.

*crossing my fingers that the storm stays south*

I'm in Draper, and it's dark, but no rain. It's cloudy out west, but not as dark.

Hopefully, it will pass in the next couple hours.

Yenta, we could probably just meet you at guardsman if you're coming from PC.

yea, today's events are not helping to make the crest possible tonite, though we may be able to toss a quick QT in if the weather does go away (it is yucky/threatening now).

So, our current plan is to grill out this evening, say 6pm? (if anyone wants to come chill and ride the two silly stunts in the yard, you're welcome to) then head downtown to meet up w/ the Red Baron around 9:30 pm at squatters.

Hmm, that also sounds tempting, though the need for exercise in this poor neglected body of mine also tempts....

We'll prolly be down for RB's shindig, play the rest by ear.

what, riding in our backyard isn't enough exercise for you?

yea, seriously, puke hill was gonna hurt this poor neglected body of mine... i am skeered.

I forgot to mention that we still would like to ride in PC one or both days this weekend.

Just remember...Saturday is the E100.....stay far away from PC.

Unless you're out at round valley or glenwild...I don't think the course crosses those trails.

I think we're riding up there on Sunday at some point.

DTM and I are going up to Mill D. I think we may start a bit earlier. And you guys will most likely catch up.

Can any of you meet at Mill D right at 5?

If it's raining, we'll head back down.

I cant get up there until 5:30...and that is changing in the car on the way up. If you leave at 5:00, there is no way we will catch you. We cant make it too far up puke hill before we both have to walk. 13+ hours in the office 6days a week makes for flabby quads. We both did leg workouts at the gym last night too However, if you want to leave at 5:30 from guardsman, we are more than happy to try and keep up with you

Well, we're out. I can't make it by then either, and with the storm, well I'm a wussie when it comes to bikes+mountains+lightning so.......

Sunday, I'm free after 5pm, so.....or early early in the AM (work at noon in PC).

what a good ride we had

first the weather looked good, then i was having shifting issues, then my chain broke, then i continued to have chain issues, then it started lightning, then it started raining.

Good thing my chain broke, cause that would have been lame to be on top of Puke Hill in that storm.

Thanks to phatfreeheeler for the work on my bike. I owe you dinner.

I got stuck in a traffic jam between 106 and 90th, so I was running way late. Sorry I missed you guys but it sounds like the ride wasn't the greatest. I ended up riding TQ instead and got drenched!

Once again....riding with Altachic is always an adventure!

We'll have to try a crest ride after work sometime next week.

Myself and demolition woman were runing a bit late, so we ended up at Mill D at 6:00. We figured we would just start riding up and meet you guys on the way down...no sooner had we started riding up, the rain started pouring. We got only a little wet getting back into the car and getting our bikes loaded back up. I guess we will have to see who ends up at squatters tonight for drinks and lick our bad trip wounds over beers.

I might be up for something on Friday......maybe we should try Crest again?

I'm in town too, but working on Sat/Sun (ugh). Could be up for a Monday ride, though.

AC: How's the bike working? Hopefully you've had a chance to get out on it!!

I've ridden twice actually. It feels so much better, although that saddle has got to go (I hurt!). I have to NOT ride my bike till I get a new saddle, should happen by Thursday.

The chain is now awesome and so is the shifting. I love it!

I can't make a Crest, won't be off work in time. I could probably do a Crest or something Monday.
