Indeed a good ride. Its great to watch strong technical riders do their thang, although I suspect my lack of rippage on the spine is more related to my lack of willingness to just sack up.

Either way, nice to get out there and beat the heat. Also, compared to my other Crest rides, especially down into Mill Creek, today was remarkably un-crowded. That was good to see.

    Edit: tippy top again bitches.

Awesome awesome day, the early start was definately worth it when the horrendous hot gusts started to hit us towards the end.

Glad to finally hit it up, losing my Crest virginity. Cool peeps, great company, fun pace (mostly, to this pedalling weenie, ), beautiful scenery, and less crowded than I'd expected for sure. Home by noon, perfecto!

Thanks for the ride back up the canyon ut..

    Again?

Heh, if it wasn't for CS rolling in no stop and greasing it like he always does on his bike I don't know if I would've even seen the line.

    Pioneer day rules

^^Yeah, he killed it. Super speedy and rock solid through the high line, good stuff.

I had a blast today. Fun to ride with a posse, love saying "NINE BACK" to people going the other way and seeing their reaction.
Great to meet CS, InspectorGadget, and Rotorhead.
Next time we'll have to do the Mill D version, I have a feeling Yentna and Ski Monkey would dig it.

Soooo, anyone wanna ride at some point this week?

I'd like to keep doing a Crest ride at least once a week, but am up for anything really.

I'm free Wed, Thurs, Fri or Sat this week. Post here if you want to ride.

I'm up for riding this week, especially if it cools off around here!!

Maybe a quick quarry ride tonight....I'd like to get to PC one evening and possibly a crest ride too. I'm done with classes for a month, so am much more available.

I could possibly get out on Thursday. I'd love to go up to PC since I haven't ridden much up there. Also, I've been wanting to check out the Solitude singletrack.

Edit: I will be around for the weekend too!

I would be up for a PC ride on Thursday. Maybe a Spiro - Mid Mountain - Johns or a Deer Crest - Spin Cycle - Solomere loop??

Could also swing a Crest ride on Friday night too.

I would vote Spiro-Johns, since I've never done it and it may be a little cooler. I could be at the trailhead by about 6:15. If you're coming from SLC we could possibly meet at the bottom of Parley's and carpool...

For anyone that is interested...Crest to Mill D Wed night around 6:30pm with Steve Lloyd, powho, Jason West and another friend of theirs.

We'll meet at Mill D no later than 6:30, so let me know if you want to ride.

Edit: I won't be checking the board tomorrow, so just call me if you want to go.

Ok, I'm out for tonight. Gotta do some stuff around the house.

PC tomorrow night, and maybe a Crest ride on Fri.

Tradygirl and I were talking about doing a Spiro - Johns. I think we'll try to carpool from SLC, but you'll probably be in PC already, right?

Maybe 6pm in the PCMR lot?

I'm in for Crest on Friday, as I can't make it tonight.

DTM will be running it and I'll be riding it, so anyone that wants to come, just post here. I can meet up by 6pm.

IG - I think we might have to start considering you a "Maggette"!

I hope you can join us tomorrow in PC!

    I'm flattered. I think.

I'll likely see you two at PCMR tomorrow, though I'm only sort of looking forward to Spiro - PC's own little puke hill.

I'd be down for Crest tomorrow night, though I'm with Altachic that I can't make it until 6:30 or later, wait, she's revised it to 6 - and would it be a shuttle so I could meet at Guardsman (in which case I COULD make it by 6)? Or should I drive down (which would make it later).

    Good times.

We could meet you at Guardsmans at 6:30, would that work? I'm going to leave work by 5:30 and should be up there right on time.

If no one else wants to join us, DTM will just be dropping me off at Guardsmans and he'll run Mill D to the spine and we can take you back to your car.

Of course! I'd say anyone that wants to ride should meet @ Mill D by 6:15 so we can get up to Yentna by 6:30.
