Unless you have a thin ski.

I'm paying in beer, so its ok.
L-B....no!!!! I thought you were going to free-hand this one?!?!

Hard to imagine someone doing 100 Fritschi mounts a year in 95-96! (One a day throughout the winter.)

One of the issues that I have is the dp skis I am planning to mount them to were thin (this year), although that may change next year.

Thus ultimate test will be measuring the thickness of the ski & the distance the screw protrudes below the binding plate (with or without the spacer). I've measured the latter, but without the ski in hand I don't know the former. The screws I have a fairly long and, without the spacer, protrude >9mm below the binding plate (=maybe slightly less into the ski).

FYI for those following this thread... (a few folks PMed me asking about the shorter screws and mounting w/o the Fritschi toe shim...)

I mounted a pair of Freeride Plus to G40s earlier this evening. I didn't use the toe shim and was able to mount it just fine w/ the stock screws. This might not work with a thinner ski, though (and the particular skis I wanted the shorter screws are known for being pretty thin).

IF you stiil need short screws, I'll bet XtrPickles can help you out.http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=54388.

In one of the pics you can see salomon binding boxes. Rob the screws from those toe pieces.

Maybe he'll find a whole box of screws in that rubble.
The coefficent of desireability is inversly proportionate to the degree of availability.
