Las Lenas - First dump of the year!

    Just received an email:

"This is A BREAKING SNOW REPORT FROM Dan Griffith with Las Lenas Vacations. THE FIRST MAJOR SNOWSTORM HAS HIT LAS LENAS, ARGENTINA -- DUMPING 16 INCHES AT THE BASE AND OVER 2 FEET AT THE SUMMIT."
"The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size."

seriously, i do NOT need to spend more money on skiing right now, but now that you put the thought in my head, who wants to get a bunch of maggots together and fill said chopper?

I expect to hear on it any day now with the details for a possible story in a kinda well-known magazine.
Thought I'd open it up to you guys if we fly.
The op is offering week-long trips, but I told them if they offered some 1-2 day flight packages, some friends might come along.
I'll post something when I hear more........

Dan's full of shit unfortunately. It snowed about 2 inches yesterday at the base and melted that afternoon.

Splat, keep me posted. The thought of a heli in the Andes conjures up many good images. As long as the winds aren't blowing that is! For some imagery, here is a shot from the top of Cerro Martin to the north, see any options?
