I fly into Denver on Friday. Does anyone want to go skiing with me?

Making a super-hectic 3-dayer to Colorado. Have no definite plans. Want to catch up with some folks in Vail/BC but don't really want to ski there. Want to take a day at Highlands but other than that I am without plans.

Any ideas? Bringing BC gear and would be up for a day if anyone is going. Otherwise I am looking to harvest pow and don't care where it happens.

Any members of the Coloraddy crew care to include a dazzling urbanite like myself? Just wondering where you guys are skiing this weekend. Thanks everybody.

You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

The only untracked turns I've been getting are in north facing trees. There are some nice lines on Peak 9 and peak 10 at Breck with about a 20 minute hike. But Duph is going to do some backcountry at Steamboat today, we'll have to hear how that goes. They have had colder temps, so it's probably held up a lot better. Crested Butte is worth a look too.

I have to finish up my level 2 at Loveland this weekend, so I'm out of the loop. I'll probably have an awful hangover on Friday, but could maybe ski (not hike) for a couple of hours.

Whatever you end up doing, have fun and enjoy the sunshine.

I'm free Saturday for sure, not so sure about Sunday. I don't want to do Aspen/Snowmass because I only have 1 day left on my Classic Pass and don't want to use it on anything other then a good powder day.

    Nice Nice.

    Plan to date:

    (insert plan to date here)

Thus far I arrive in D-town at 7 on Friday night. I have a place to crash in Edwards and a few interesting offers. I am in the process of trying to commandeer a car to get around.

Saturday I'm skiing with my younger sis (no, I will not) either at Beaver Creek or the whale. She is an aspiring knuckle-dragger so most of the day will be spent in-bounds, waiting .

Sunday and Monday are entirely up for grabs. I have got to be at DIA Monday at 5:30 for a 6:30 flight. I am up for a Sunday at Highlands and then Monday somewhere in Summit County. Never been to Berthoud and would love to hit it with a little local knowledge.

Outstanding Problems: I am short a ride to the airport on Monday (contingent on skiing somewhere in summit county that day) and possibly a place to crash on Sunday night. I can offer a place to stay in Edwards on Sunday night for anyone that wants to ski Highlands on Sunday and then move closer to Denver on Monday. (This offer comes with beers in Vail at a substantial discount on Sunday night)

Does anyone know of a service that runs from any summit co. resorts to DIA?

Sorry for long and brain-farty response. Any and all recommendations are welcome. Thanks doods.

I know you said no Vail/BC, but I would show you East Vail if you would like.

Done and Done. Grey shell, black pants, silver boeri domer with signature Sugarloaf triangle sticker on top and PM sticker on the back. Bright green Smith googles and 1 big farken grin. Super-stoked. I'll shoot pm with info.

U & D, I am clearly not the tour guide but my vote says the more the merrier.

Let's cut the group at 3 if possible. I'll be wearing a yellow shell, grey pants, silver full face, and skiing either Spatulas or Inspireds.

    Pinnoir:

Highlands on Sunday? You in? Repeat performance of last year but this time we'll stay high instead of relocating to Aspen. If not I will meet you in summit county, but it sounds like the snow around Aspen is waaaaaaaaay better.

Then again, I live on an island.

    Lets go skiing.

There will be a few of us MJ skiers up there on Sunday if you're looking for something closer to Denver...45/44" base, was fun last weekend.
