Here's a little cut and paste that should help with sizing.

    From Patagonia.com:

    Work Gloves
    Men's/Unisex XS S M L XL
    Circumference (inches) 6-61/2 7-71/2 8-81/2 9-91/2 10-101/2
Hands: measurements should be taken around the fullest part of the hand, not including the thumb.

    From REI.com:

    Marmot Work Glove
    Men's/Unisex XS S M L XL
    Gloves (girth) 6.5-7 7-7.5 8-8.5 9-9.5 10-10.5

    From PMGEAR:

    KevGlove
    MENS M (9) MENS L (10) MENS XL (10.5)

If you were going to use them for climbing, I'd agree on a Medium as that will be a tighter fit.
I'd suggest the Large for skiing.
Of course, the PMGear guys will exchange if you want the other fit.
Good runs when you get them.

Most gloves I tend to take a large which I thought was about 9.5. In the kev glove the large was too much and the medium gave me plenty of room.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

I was going to tell you that^^. Your hands look like you borrowed them from Vern Troyer.
