    Freezing Levels Suck

Just when I thought it was over, seems the Pineapple Express is about to settle in for another week in PacNW and keep the yo-yo going...
    fuck!

Low 50's / Upper 40's all week in Ski-attle. Snow level yo-yo'ing from 4500 feet to 6000 feet all week, with only one day forecasted below 3000 feet. Too bad- these storms look like they have some decent moisture in them. Where's the cold front when you need one?

I could have told you this would happen three weeks ago. You know why? Because I hurt my knee and was out for three weeks, missing all those powder days when I DIDN'T FUCKING HAVE SCHOOL. I could have gotten some sweet sweet powder love almost every day, but instead i sat at home doing homework.

This weekend will be my first back on snow, so of course it's shitty.

I know I'm lucky it isn't worse than it is though, three weeks is nothing.

I'm going to skin my ass to Camp Muir on Saturday and hopefully get above all of this nonsense.

    (Agreed, freezing levels bite hard.)

In the Northeast. Right now it's scrotum shrinking cold, and almost no precipitation in the forecast.

.....so does high pressure squirel. Remember January, 3 years ago.....on month of sun in the mts (on like a 30" base) and fog in the valley......well that's what we got right now.

We had that a week and half ago. Don't you remember?

This is the more typical pattern: checking freezing levels daily hoping they drop below pass elevations.
