    avy book

    Just read "Snowstruck" by Jill Fredston

    A very nice balance of science and human nature. Saw it mentioned once in this forum, think it deserves another endorsement.

    I'm with you carl, it wasn't that great of a book. But since I know a couple of the folks involved in the Cordova slide, and live in a city with some bigtime urban avalanche hazard, it held my interest well enough. Worth a read.
