I'm watching the Red Bull X Alps right now on NBC. Paraglide/hike race from Dachstein Glacier, across Austria, Germany, France and Italy into Manaco. Very cool!!!!

you know what would be a good idea? if someone from TGR posts or lets us know in advance when they'll have something of theirs on TV.

this show is really cool (thanks Blatand and Boomer28 for letting us know), but i can imagine how many here will regret they missed it or didn't tivo it...

yeah unfortunately...however not only the segment, but it appears the whole thing has now ended.

Why is it the coolest shows never show enough nor are long enough?

My wife was freaking out as those slabs broke loose. I'm glad nobody got hurt. I don't understand why those cats don't do their descents with avalungs.

That X Alps competition is AMAZING. It's like the Paris - Drakkar of paragliding.
When in doubt, point it out.

Whatever, stop pretending you guys like TGR. you guys all think that we're sellout's because we're sponsored by Jeep and show up on network television (not to mention FUEL and Showtime, listings of shows times available on www.worldofadventuresports.com and www.sho.com and www.fuel.tv, check local listings for changes in air dates) I mean, we try to stay true to the core! honestly! even though we have amazing television shows that air all over the world in millions of homes, the best ski forum ever made, a great clothing line, and a shit ton of free product showing up at the office everyday from companies just begging to give us money, cars, electronics, season passes to resorts we'll never visit, skis, plane tickets, drugs and alcohol (which we obviously turn away), heli-trips, snowmobiles, computers, MP3 players, surfboards, skateboards, did i mentions millions of dollars? That doesn't mean that we've sold out, does it? it just means that we're willing to do whatever it takes to tile our floors in thick indian marble stones! I mean, what does every other ski bum do? walk around their mansion on carpet? well, that's damn near poverty! and to them i say, get a better job you lazy bum!! you're giving us true ski bums a bad name! a name to which always has a price. I mean, are you guys trying to tell me that you just put stickers on your skis and helmets without charging that company for placement?!?!?! well, that's probably why your mansion only has 4.5 bathrooms and not 5! So, to all of you, paint the top sheet of those $1000 skis you spent your hard earned money on flat black, put an anarchy patch over your jacket logos and put sleeves on your goggle straps. Make those companies pay for your logo space. Wearing a pair of skis with a pro's name on them is only cool if you're him! otherwise you're just a wanabe. and the worst kind or wannbe is one without photo insentive! anyhow, please continue to enjoy the fine programming provided by Teton Gravity Research! thanks for the compliments!
