Needed: Good deal on dakine heli-pro

For an upcoming trip, I need to purchase a Dakine Heli-pro in large. If you have another pack of similar size/purpose (lift serviced BC and inbounds hiking), please tell me about it. There aren't any on ebay as of today.

Preferred in red/black, orange/black, or dark blue/black. tell me about other colors, but i don't want all black.

    anyone want to sell?

I have a Heli Pro II that I've only used once. I'm not sure of the size. I could take measurements and pics. It retailed for $90, I'll sell for $65 plus shipping. It's blue/black.

    geoff,
thats the one i found. but the lack of compression straps is kinda a deal breaker... though it is cheap. I emailed the guy and asked if it was possible to put them back on. no response yet...

I have one that's a couple years old I'd part with. Only problem is on both sides where you can put a shovel handle or ice axe in, the clips ripped of. Also the top strap that holds your ski's was lost and replaced with a cut snowboard leash. Other than that, it's in good shape. It's red and black. Shipping it from here to there may not be worth what you're getting though, they really aren't that expensive new.

How's the pro II compare to the original anyway?

    Thumbs down

You're a poser dude. There are tons of good ski packs out there. Why do you need a "Heli" pack .?? Give it up and stay on the groomers where you belong

yeah, the cheapest i found one on the net was 67, including shipping.

i didn't like the pro2 cause of how it fit on my back, and its larger size. i wanted something smaller.
