    SEARCH FUNCTION JONG!
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Seriously, you're going to get your puppy's name off an internet message board? Be creative and think of one yourself. How about a favorite sports figure from your childhood? I've got a yellow lab (Tasker, named for Steve Tasker of Buffalo Bills fame) and a black lab (Yoshi, named for the Mario Brothers turtle, that my g/f picked out).

Yoshi isn't a turtle, he's a dinosaur, who eats turtles.

I played too much nintendo as a kid.

Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

The things you find on the net.

Jeez, this board has gotten soft.

Here's a 104 post thread on the same subject that I found after 2 seconds of searching:

    http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...ht=puppy+names

That and Function would be a sweet name "Sit Function, heel Function, etc."

Jackstraw, the point about searching is so the searcher can bump the old thread and bring it back to life, getting fresh input from the 'new guys.' That way, when others search for the same info, there aren't 234,564 threads about how awesome pocket rockets are.

Technically, you would have to say, "Search, Function!"

I like the idea of naming him something personal... whether it's a sports figure that you liked from childhood, or even a character from a book you love, or perhaps the name of a town you have fond memories of.... maybe work in a fav ski trail or something...

However, I'll submit some name ideas for you as well:
    Jackson
    Smitty
    Herman
    Chase

I guess you have to see the dogs personality and see what fits.
