Haven't been following much from Diplo lately (last thing I listened to was a live performance w/ MIA....and I listened to Beats In Space from a while back). Will check these out!

Can I download them for my iPod?

Got into Diplo + Low-b back at some parties in Philly. Low-B had some good mixes up on his site. (Dec, Jan & Feb(05) I liked....Wasn't a fan of May (05). Not sure if he's put up anything more recent.)

they look like quicktime files, unless i'm missing something. no way to convert them to a format itunes can handle w/o doing a conversion, right?

you just download them through ITunes....go to the Itunes store, click "Podcasts", search for "Mad Decent", and subscribe....it'll be the right format

Oh, cool! Will do. I was on the Mad Decent website and they were opening in embedded QT. I figured there would be some way for me to get at them, but I hadn't figured it out.

I'm going to download a couple and listen to them during P/T.

If you are a diplo fan, I recommend this, from 2003. (Beats In Space)

It's more Hollertronix than current Diplo/Florida/MIA/Latin riddim.

    1h20m or so.

    I can't believe I missed this-

Diplo has been my fave DJ for a number of months now. www.formdiplo.com has some good tunes in his mp3 section on the site. His t-shirts are sweet too, dinosaurs rule.

My fave is his Gold Lion remix, you can find it on his myspace page. Rhythm is tight too. It's all good, to tell you the truth. Also check out the first band on his label, Bonde do Role. They sample guitar riffs from rock classics then rap over them in Portuguese or something. Awesome.
    Believe.

I was psyched on diplo back in the hollertronix days...and like what he's doing.

like the indian stuff a bit more than the latin stuff...the latin stuff (in my opinion) either hits me as amazing or awful -- not much i'm ambivalent about.

i dig a few of the mad decent podcasts, but def not all.

will check out that site. thanks for posting it!

i don't seek his stuff out any more, but it's cool when he keeps popping up.

he made beats for david banner, right?

I saw Girl Talk put on a set last weekend and was blown away. After looking him up and reading about him, he's been compared to Diplo a few places. Anybody have an opinion about such a comparison?
