    Lift served DH in UT?

Without scowering every resort website, I would like to know how much DH there is in UT? I was also wondering about the quality of said DH trails. Are we talkin' a couple of berms and 1 or 2 ladders or full on rock gardens and drops? This is obviously subjective but I've grown quite accustomed to Keystone's trails, not super burly but definitely fun and pretty challenging, for me at least.

Solitude has trails, none of which really have anything built up on them. Deer Valley as well...although I do not know if they have anything built.

deer valley is on par with keystone. not as many drops but more techy sections for sure. the canfield bros built the national course there, but there is a 15 minute push to the top of the run. otherwise there are two/three good trails and a bunch of bullshit and gapers. i give DV

Don't let Deer Valley's number one posh ski resort ranking lull you into thinking Deer Valley is all mild mountain biking in the summer. It's a completly different story in the summer and shouldn't be missed.

On the main part of DV that is lift served, there are 2 full on DH race course type runs...fun, rather difficult, really fun once you memorize some spots and can pin and flow it. There are a couple mellower trails up there that have really good flow and some really fun berms.
You hve to hike a bit to get to the top of the NORBA course, but it too is a race course type run that can be rather diabolical, it pretty fucking technical, and my hands sweat a little bit just thinking about racing on it again this year. Unfrtunately, there aren't any good jumps and no NS stuff really worth talking about. Theres always talk about building some new cool stuff, some of the summer crew went up to Whistler last year and got their eyes opened, but DV doesn't want to put any time or effort into building anything progressive. The chairlifts run in the summer primarily to take wealthy sightseers to the top of the mtn, its just a bonus that there are good trails on the mtn, and we can take our bikes on the lift.
Theres some cool freeride stuff built in the woods around Park City, but you'll have to get a local to show you the goods.

Seconded. Totally changes personality in the summer - posh plush rich geezerville in the winter (sorry geezers....), ripping DH craziness in the summer. Good times.
This touchy-feely Kumbaya shit has got to go.

^^ sounds just like Keystone. In the winter, gaper central (without the posh of DV), in the summer, rocking DH biking!
